How to load/unload a backhoe

I've been trying to find the video that was posted that had the run away piece of equipment that rolled down the hill when they righted it. Any help? I want to send it to the guy that send me the backhoe video

We used to do it that way all the time when I was running a hoe in college. Only difference was we did not back it off the truck we used the hoe to pull it off. Followed the same process though

I will say the first time I did it scared the h_ll out of me. I still remember where I was (Peggs Oklahoma) the first time I loaded one and that was 34 years ago.

if he keeps supporting the weight of that hoe on the connecting plate on that Cat he will be buying on before long
as for loading it that isn't that hard if you can operate one at all
I have loaded several over the side of flatbed trailers and even had to crawl up on some loading dock to get a hoe inside a few buildings

was doing a Job down by table rock lake where we had to crawl off of 3 step downs about 6 ft high because they had lndscaped in front of the house going towards the lake and the yard had 3 6ft step downs in it so they could have flat areas on the 4th flat area they decided they needed a swimming pool so I had to take a hoe over all the retaining walls and dig the pool then dump the dirt on the 3rd landing and then we took a skid steers to move the dirt to the higher areas so we could load it in a dump truck and haul it off
That was an expensive swimming pool

And here I thought I was hot sch*t for ripping a barn pole loose this evening with the outrigger on my Cat. Who knew those things stuck out just a wee bit further than the tracks???

The guy that runs my hoe used to do that all the time for Herzog Contracting. Two Herzog brothers and a guy from here invented the process to get up on the boxcars. Some kind of special brackets, they had the patent at one time. Forget now how much Bob, the guy from here, said they figured it saved them in time to unload the cars along the tracks. They unloaded ballast and ties to bulid the railroad roadways. Bruce, my guy, says that it was interesting at first, but to look at 100 boxcars to be unloaded, and knowing that you were gonna' do it for 16 hour days got old real quick. gs

A backhoe must be easier than driving a limo. Look what happened to Opie last week in Ireland.

I bet they had a hard time finding a fix in the policy and procedure book for that one. I imagine the car may still be sitting there until they come up with one.
