How things have changed

I first signed on here in 2003, I was buying a few cows to mess with and rented about 100 acres. I have had cows most of my life my grandpaw gave me my first cow when I was small. I have always been a fanatic for cattle, books any magazine or sale catalog I could get. In 2006 my 2 youngest son's got involved, we have gone from 15-20 pairs and a bull, now we farm 1200 acres 50/50 owned and rented 4 layer houses (60,000) raising fertile eggs, 175 pair and 8 bulls, we do our own hay. I am so blessed to see a dream come true,

I forgot to mention we all worked full time jobs until we built the chicken houses. One son was a helicopter mechanic in the military and for air-evac, my youngest son was a nurse. I am a pastor of a church, and worked at the local high school.

Arkansas they hatch broilers out of the eggs.
