You got to do you but if it was me I wouldn't. Biggest strike is 2wd. Even if the intent is that it will be an asphalt angel that thing will get you hung up somewhere. 6.0 was not great but not all bad.

He is right, @MurraysMutts . A 2wd diesel PU? 8' bed? Especially extended or crew cab? I know you have flat ground there, but here? Pull down and park on even the slightest grade on grass, and you can pee on the rear tires and you won't be able to back it up a foot. The 7.3's were the worst, but the front end of a 6.0 is not that much lighter.
