How much can you do with a Ford 600?

We have a Ford 600 tractor. Can you effectively run a square baler with this tractor? We have always had other people bale for us, but are considering doing it ourself next year. We have a 15 acre hayfield. We do have a NH 273 square baler and an old Ford sickle bar mower(don't know if it works). This tractor used to run the mower years ago.

Yes, the 600 will run yours square baler. It will complement all the equipment you mentioned.

Your tractor will run a NH 273 baler , we pulled one years ago with a MF 135 which is about the same size , If your field is flat you could pull a wagon behind to load the bales as you bale but if you have hills bale them on the ground and pick up later.

We had a 7ft NH haybine at the time , we used that about five years till we got a bigger tractor.
