How long will a galvaniz bulk feeder last with 2:1 rangemeal

How well do galvanized bulk self feeders hold up feeding 2:1 or 3:1 range meal--does the salt eat 'em right up?

Yes that will work. Also polyurethane paint or MIL-P-23377 epoxy primer. Either way you'll need to etch it with vinegar so it'll stick. It still won't last forever, but I've got one 4 years old. I will need to reapply if I want it last much longer

the best thing for the meal salt combo is to get a wooden creepfeeder.the salt wont bother that. look up dubois portable feeders.i know they are down close to austin as i went with a buddy to get 2 of their towable wood creep feeders.
