Well Houston went really well. I showed Valentine on Friday, the judge said the same thing as they said at Ft. Worth. She looks good but needs a calf at her side at this age. She looked great when I showed her. We sweated her neck like crazy to thin up her neck a bit. She placed 5th in her class and 1st in my class was reserve supreme champion. It was cool to watch the Supreme Champion show.
Also on friday my first time ewe had triplets, she is a great mother.
I will put pics of Valentine up once Barker makes them avalible.
she is now slicked and ready to go out to pasture soon, After that she will have her calf in the end of may/ begining of june and we will go to the National Angus show in July. After that she is retired from being a show cow.
