Shes not out of line at all with her prices, I just question the fact that if she's good, why is she advertising. The "good" trainers I know are booked well in advance.
 
Seems to me there's a little disclaimer about that first ride part. :lol2:
I'd almost guarantee if she's like most it'll take her a month to due three days work.
 
You won't find a $500. Per month trainer around here unless they are just your "back yard" variety yahoo. The good trainers around here are $800-$1,000.. I would venture to say that she is a young lady just starting out. She does not have her own facilities or a facility to work out of so she has a reduced price and free advertising to get started. Sometimes those are the ones that will work the hardest.
 
Most of these horses trainers and the general horse community has been brainwashed by a barrage of tv personalities into long slow gentle touch methods that are painfully slow. They also can create a unsafe animal, outside of a arena. Believe they need a special rope , switch, blanket etc.
She'll wave a Wal-Mart sack at it for a month.

I agree, it's much better to ride the stupid off of them.
