Horse trailer SHOCK!

My sister just called me and says when they grab door handle to get inside the handle is energized! I had her unplug from electric pole until we find what may be causing, Any Help? ASAP Thanks

Sounds like an energized wire has wore through the insulation and is touching the trailer some where.

X2, had the same thing happen with a barn, grab the handle on the door and ..... Turned out to be a wire that the casing wore off and laid on the siding.

Make sure the ground is connected right as well, but find the real reason it's buzzing first.

That would make for some interesting horse loading, and would probably freak them for a long time

Found issue.... ground wire on plug pulled loose and touching hot lead causing problem, rewired and good to go! Thanks
