I always buy my wife guns or tools, or heifers, hay balers , trailers, she loves that stuff!
I bought my 5' tall, 125lb wife a couple of very nice, expensive, 17" roping saddles for Christmas over our 20 year marriage. Probably one reason I have been divorced now for 20 years

When my boys were still at home we bought mama a boat for Mother's Day.
When I drove up in the yard with it the boys were jumping for joy, the wife had some choice words.

We were spread out over 17 years. Not quite as many of us.I am one of 11 kids however they spread them out over 25 years or so.
Everybody always teased my Dad he needed a tv, he would just smile and say I got one the kids watch it.
