hey. I'm new, and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Omega, and I'm from east Texas.
I'm not really all that new to cattle 'cause I've been around them all my life because of my family, but I was never interested in getting to know the business until now. My father's super excited about my decision. LOL. Anyway, I'm interested in raising and auctioning.

Thank you so much bigbull. I've already picked up some tips. It's a little confusing for now because there's so much information, but I'm taking notes on the things I'm not quite sure about. Later I'll go over them with my father and ask him questions. I'm really glad I found this message board.

Sounds like my story. I liked the cows but wanted to do something more "exciting". After college and a couple of years cowless other than castrating, preg testing day etc. I realized nothing is better than being with the cows. Best of all I have had the opportunity to work with my mother and get to know each other as adults and become best friends. You'll get to do that with your father and won't regret it. Welcome to the board.
