Wife got home last night about six pm after driving back from the Dixie show. Said there is about 1/2 inch of snow on the ground. Ya'll get any?

Yeah, me too. Posted this to get a rise outta some of our northern friends who deal with a lot more snow than we do. I guess they aint bitin this morning. ;-)

You mean that there are places that actually have some of that stuff!!! I wish I could say the same....sounds like you guys have more on the ground right now then we do.....And I Live in CANADA!!!!!!
Yeah pretty depressing winter up here!!! But schools closed for that much snow.....crazy man...I dunno if we would be able to handle it anymoe either might be stressing us out if we actually do get some of the white stuff....and some actual winter wheather!!

Yep! Around home 3 inches is dang near blizzard conditions. 6 inches shuts down roads and nobody gets anywhere. ;-)

I would rather feed in lite snow that we get than I had the rain we been getting. Easier to walk in, ground froze and cows only have to block wind not wind and rain. We don't get much here so no worries. I have sympathy for big snows had to feed in it once or twice years ago but after 3 or 4 days to much snow not enough grub. So it can be bad both ways but at least when ground freezes BUGS DIE. Of which we could loose several thousands. Good luck to you guys in the north, you seem to bee needing it.
