Hereford X Fleck or ???

I looked at a herd of "Hereford" cows that are for sale. The current owner did not breed them. Some are 1400# cows with a solid white face, red neck, very large dulap, and nice utters... I am thinking they may really be Fleck crosses, :idea: or is there another herf cross that looks like this? How much Fleck blood does it take to show ?

These cows came out of ND. They may have a line of horned dairy type Herefords there, but I doubt it.

A 1/16 or 1/8 Fleck can change the look of some of them. But could just as well be the genetic lines he has bred with. I've had the odd line with excessive dewlap. What was the price on them?

Yes, but it is expensive to run a shelter for old wf cows.

So your saying they are used up old crocks ready for the grinder? No pictures, so I have no idea on quality.
