The heifer in the right foreground in this picture and the one that's behind her shoulder are both Diesels, out of first calf Hammer daughters:

I'll breed them to Diesel for September, 2013 calves. I'm really liking the results that I'm getting from those matings.

Thanks! We've been fortunate this year on the rain, although we could have sure still used more this spring. It certainly is much better than the devastation that we were experiencing this time last year:

Yep.. nice fat heifers you got there. but I was more impressed with your grass.. things are pretty brown around here, except for the bottom land, where subsoil moisture is good.
