We have herfs too. Most of the time, I don't even want to look at them until the are 6 months old. They can be ugly! So if you like her now, you should really like her later.

UGLY??? are you kidding me? hereford calves are the cutest outta of all the breeds. and this one is no exception. i love the momma. couldnt ask for much of a better sire either.

Oh relax. I mean that they are all legs, no hair, not very thick usually. I agree they look better than a plain black one as far as "cuteness". Ours always seem to improve with age.

As for Gavel- I don't know, I didn't see him in real life and he is deceased.
