Hello everyone,
I have read MANY posts on this forum and would like to say thanks to everyone for the knowledge. I don't have any cattle yet and would like to get some experience. I'm an active duty Marine stationed in San Antonio. I would LOVE if anyone on here within reasonable distance would let me come help out so I can learn things. I am not looking for anything special, I just want to get my hands dirty, doing anything really. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your service. You're welcome to come see my small operation some time, but I'm about a 4-hour drive from San Antonio. I understand if that's too far away.

I went to the Navasota auction yesterday, and on my way home I passed through Grimes Co and I said to my wife, "someone on the forum is from Grimes Co"!!! Small world! Thank you very much for the offer. I'll PM you if I come that way again to set something up.
