Hi all...our 4H show is Monday and the Open/Jr. shows are Wednesday. This morning on of our 4H'ers said the following:
Her Charolais steer has a spot on the back of his neck (she indicates its between the crest and the poll) where hair is comming out. I wondered if he wasn't rubbing it on something (ours will do this if they stick their heads through our wood fence). She wanted to know how to fix it before the show. Any suggestions? I wish I could see it as I would maybe advise her to let the show halter ride a little down the neck to help cover it but obviously if its too close to the crest this isn't going to work. She's thinking about some white coverup... I was thinking maybe to clip the crest down pretty close and blend it into the neck to help hide it? I know people can do some amazing things with "fake hair" but without seeing this I can't tell you how bad it is. I appreciate any input so I can help her....Thanks!
