Starting on a mile long stretch of barbed wire fence this weekend. I have 16 corners to set, 28 brace posts, 5 wires to run and approximately 400 t-posts.

Anybody looking for something to do can sure come and help.

The pay is not very good but the hours are long. :lol2:

Yeah......I would rather chew off my own knee caps.
Have fun with that though!
And Happy Easter!

Here’s the only help I can give you and it cost’s you nothing.
Use a tractor driven posthole digger and set those 400 t-posts with your front end loader.

This is only a two man job and.
Step one: set all corner posts
Step two: Stretch one strand of wire on the ground, post to post, snap it to get a straight line.
Step three: mark out where the t-posts go by using a 15 (8 or 10) ft. peace of rope and mark out paint.
Step four: go along and lay your t-posts on the ground parallel to the wire with the bottom end on the paint mark.
Step five: stratle the wire and posts with your loader, pushing each post in the ground with your bucket as you back down the line.
Step six: string all 5 wires, one at a time and attach to posts.

This is a two day two man job. (Unless of course you are in nothing but rock.) Then I suggest you look into getting your blasters license and get back to me.

Sorry Bandit we had a little high water problem around here a few days ago, and you will most likely be done with yours, before i can get mine fixed back and get ther to help you, maybe next time.

Well forgot it was Easter Sunday this weekend. Only got to work on it for about 4 1/2 hours on Saturday. Step one is almost completed, I only have 6 more corners to "tamp" in this evening after I get off my day job. (Have to make some money to eat.) Plan on running the bottom wire some evening this week, and then going back and drilling and setting the brace posts this coming Saturday. I think I've got some help coming Sunday to drive the T-posts while I put the H-braces on the corners. After that, it's just a matter of stretching and clipping.
