I will definately not let him suffer, he will be put down if he is suffering. Instead of pawning him off the man should have down that from the get go in my opinion. But now my teenage daughterr has seen him and we will work on him as long as he makes progress. The vet was out of town and I got someone I am not familair with but she said it was probaly naval/joint ill. Going to give him the probios, eletrolytes, 2 qts mils replacer twice daily, and a Ca Mg Cobalt paste type stuff. Said to keep him on the tetracycline for 2 more days for the scours. She said she doesnt use many antibotics and didnt reccomned them if it could be helped. I did pick up some Tyln I believe its called while I was out also incase since it was an earier suggestion. He is acting good and his apetite is good I put some calf starter in with him as well as hay and he nibbles a little.
