lol he shot it with a 20 gauge said hoe required him to get too close. I think its a mocassin. m5 thats funny. I just know hes a healthy snake he told me snake was trying to get in his house.

Looks very much like a moccasin. Probably an older Banded Eastern Water Snake. They tend to lose their markings and turn brownish gray. They have a yellow belly just like that.

I know he cant see what i say, but its a cotton mouth, water moccasin....

Can't see the tail but as thick as he is I'd say its a cottonmouth.

I would guess Eastern water snake as well. Though without the head it may be impossible to ID.

Looks like a water snake to me. I step on them all the time weedeating along these branches.
If I can hit him in the head, I'll kill him with the weedeater.

It has appeared! I don't see a head or tail tip, but given what I can see, I'd have to go along with pdf, brown water snake.

yw no problem head will probably never be found and thats my friends photo skills that he left the tail off the pic. I just know he was too big and funny looking to live if it were a blk snake at my place id leave it be.
