Sir,
Do you feed any MFA feeds?
I posted last week about one of my herfords that has been off her feed for a couple of weeks.
Last night I opened a new bag of allgrain, and it was real dry (the last two weeks it has had a very heavy coat of molasses)
She hit the trough slobbering and shoved her field mate away from the corn.
Back to her normal behavior :-)
Are they normally that picky about flavor?

Some are, some aren't.
I don;t use anything from MFA. Had a disagreement with them 6-7 years ago and they lost me as a customer over 12 bucks.

I am north of you up by Urbana.
Her problem is she dosen't seem to care for the molasses.
After reading the other post about the heifer and too rich a feed, I may switch her to some oats and her hay instead of the all grain.

rbell, hey howdy neighbor. :)
It sounds like the drier stuff is what they call the Fair Grove blend? It seems to have more oats, pellets, less corn and molasses? My calves love the Cattle Charge products, but get some stockpiled grass, hay, and minerals.
