Heifer ?

I bought two black heifers from my neihbor bout three months ago. I was told they were preged and due mid April. Anyway one is starting to spring. The other one looks like she is maybe carrying. The one thats not showing tonite when I check on the herd I noticed she was carrying her tail out , No sign of birth,No bag what so ever,nothing. I forgot about it and went on checking the herd. then she chasing and smelling every calf in he herd and Bawling and acting like shes loking for a calf?? I saw no sign of an abort. Whatca all think?? :compute:

she is calving, could be having troubles, glove up and check.

I hope by now you;ve followed rockridges advice and gloved up and checked to see what is holding up the process. I've seen cows do that all day before they've finally just laid down and got on with it. But with a heifer I would check her ASAP.

Would it be possible for her to be calving without baging up or being sloppy in the back??? She doesn't look to be that close.
