I dont have scales. How can you estimate the weight of heifer angus

get a weigh tape and measure around their chest right behind the front legs.
Different brands of tapes will have different formulas, I have my own that seems to be reasonably close for my animals when I compare it to those that went through the sale barn..
Measuring in inches...
(Girth^2.58) x 0.204
It works out about to this...
