Not any more than normal. There's always someone willing to pay a premium for feeder hfrs coming from one of the local pure bred Angus breeders.

No, not at all. At the sale yesterday 5 weight steers topped over $1.70. I don't think any of the heifers in the same size made $1.50.
Only time I see it is when they are top shelf heifers from a reputation herd being purchased as replacements.
