I have a 3 t=year old about to calve her second. She is due any minute, literally. She just last week started this funny limp on her back leg. It is like it won't bend then she'll thrust it forward. Is it normal to have these problems late in pregnancy.

I don't know about the 'normal' part, but it sounds like the calf may be putting pressure on the nerves, etc to that leg and is interfering with it functioning correctly. If so, that could be a bad deal come calving time.

We had one old girl that would limp the last month or so before calving. Sometimes on one side, sometimes on the other. Last year after she calved she limped badly on both sides. Turns out that it was arthritis starting to get to her. She was only 10 when we sent her down the road as a kill cow. But we waited till she weaned a dandy calf.
