Do any ya'll workout or try to eat healthy? What is the big method you have found to fit working out into your day. Actually working our not working.

The nearest gym is about 26 miles away. Too far of a commute. I try to eat healthy but am not real good at it. I could stand to lose a few pounds. I drop some of it October through May. I don't do hot weather very well. So in the summer I am not nearly as active and put some of that weight back on. But I am more active than most people my age. So I am in pretty good shape for 73.

Try to eat healthy but it's very hard with work and being on the go all the time. Do not work out but try to stay active. Everything hurts now so I'm not sure manual labor is a good means of staying active anymore. Started limiting alcohol a couple years back, some weeks I do good some weeks worse.

I'm 70 year old lady. Weighed 152lbs when Honeydew came fresh. Then the work began, raising calves, fixing fences, toting buckets, plus the 40 plant vineyard I put in and the veg garden coming on strong. Now I weigh 139lbs with no change in diet. Always limited junk food, but all this the ice cream, someone has to eat it. 73 year old husband is whip thin and strong.
Its not heavy labor but these days I seldom stop moving when I used to just sit on my behind all day. It's not working out it's just work.

I'll have to try that.

At my age, eating healthy means eating enough to stay alive. I do so.
Richard Simmons did all that healthy stuff and only lived 2 years longer than I am now.

(For the record, you are upsetting the natural order of things.....I do believe the 'health and nutrition' section is strictly for livestock, not human health.

Human health should be down in the Coffee Shop where old men sit around and discuss weather, health and make dirty jokes or the Everything Else section where old men sit around and talk about ..............well, everything else..)

(no, I don't mean to be sexist..females are included in all the above, and very welcomed)

other genders, well, you take your chances......

Excuse me I didn't know. How do you know me gender?

I am the heaviest I have ever been at 250 lbs and can do more pushups now at 63 than I could when I was 20. I always gain weight over hay time and will wear it off now and my biggest weight losses are during calving in April. Have gone from 240 to 218 in 30 days a couple times.
As for the present, round is actually a shape………

Yes! Human beings evolved/created meant to move constantly. Sitting on one's bum playing on the internet accomplishes little, burns few calories and causes time to fly. I must get up now and repair a fence.

"What all do you do to stay I'm shape." who, me? Do farm work, mostly having to do with the production, collection and preservation of food. The kitchen is a mess wrecked I have clean it several times a day. A lot of scrubbing and sweeping builds the muscles. So tired at night its good to get in bed and just be still.
Next day, do it again. :)
