Hi Rose,

Here's a link to Ohio's website: http://www.ohioagriculture.gov/animal/

and one to find regulations to all states:
http://www.aphis.usda.gov/vs/sregs/

I have to do this at work when clients are shipping animals out of state. I usually end up calling the destination state's vet office to check on testing requirements and if they need to have a permit number on the health certificate (just in case their website hasn't been updated); that way I'm sure (and I make note of the person's name that I spoke to).

If he needs TB (requires a 2nd vet appt. so they can read the TB test) or brucellosis testing, allow some time for that to get done. The health papers are usually good for 30 days.

Congratulations on selling him, but I bet you'll miss him!
