Hi I have a calf that my husband brought home slated for put down. It had the scours and a very swollen knee joint in the front leg. Scours under controls and with antibiotics and aspirin the knee joint has reduced in size by 45% at least still swollen no heat in joint has drained naturally twice and is healing well. What else can I do or is it just a matter of time know. He is eating well and gaining weight and weight bearing on the leg.

sounds like joint ill. if you do a search for navel ill and/or joint ill you should get a ton of ideas. especially from milkmaid's posts on the matter. other than that i'd say keep doing what works.
