I've been having a hard time finding hay and came across a source that bales crabgrass. He sows winter wheat and sprays it, and this is what comes up voluntary after the other is harvested. Anyone ever feed this? If so, any idea of the protein vs. a fescue hay? Safe for horses and cattle? Thanks for any help.
