Hay that needs cutting?

I have some hay that needed cutting a month ago. We have a 30% chance of rain for all except 1 day this week. Next Monday and Tuesday, it
is about 80%. I am thinking of just waiting it out. We had the same weather pattern last, what would you do? This is in SW MS and most of it
is Bahia.

If it;s that far past due, waiting a while longer probably isn;t going to hurt the quality any so I would wait. The worst that it would cause would be late with the next cutting so you would get 1 fewer cuttings a year.

wait it out.and cut it when the weather is clear.

the bright side is when its cut it will have good seed distribution because the seed heads should be fully matured

Don, I'm in the same shape and it's pouring in here now. Your right it's the same pattern as last summer and I only got one cutting because of it last year. I wish some body who needs it was getting this rain I've had enough for awhile. We get 63 inches a year and we've already got 55 inches this year.
