How are the hay prices in the Southeast part of the US? With the drought just curious if people are already paying high prices for junk hay. We went throught that the last few years here and was wondering if things are in that short of supply?

yes they are already paying high prices for hay in bama an tn.i see your in delta county are you baling alot of hay this yr.

Our 50# average squares are selling for 4.00. Probably too cheap, compared to prices I've heard about, but we're moving it fast, and providing some relief to folks that really need it.

Talked with the guy who cuts and bales our hay. He rolls 4'x5' for $15 a roll for us. He said he's selling his cows and will be selling all of his hay rolls for $60 each if you get less than 50 but will sell @ $50 each if you take 50 or more. He's very shrewd when it comes to money in his pocket. (Did I say that politely enough?)
