Hay headed West

I had to make a trip into Birmingham today and on the way home around 3pm I met 8 Army or National Guard 18 wheelers headed west on Interstate 20. All 8 trucks were loaded with round bales.

Somebody's cows are gonna' be happy in the next day or two.

Maybe that hay is going to Texas or Okla.

Back a few years ago the good folks in South Carolina sent hay to Alabama free of charge.

I would send some to the Texas area if I had any.

Several years ago Oklahoma sent some hay to east Texas, free of charge. A few years ago we sent 500+ bales to Colorado for the animals of the fire victims, free of charge. We should all try to help when it is needed.

Saw a news story about that last week, it's on it's way to MS and other areas affected by Katrina
