hay conditioner?

I like the cane(sudex, pearl millet) type grasses too, but they take too long to dry out with a regular sickle mower. The most bales of hay that I have ever seen come out of a feild was a feild of sudex years ago. That feild produced so many bales of hay you could have left them where they dropped and played hide-and-go-seek with kids amongst them.

IF there is any thing prettier than a field of round bales of sudex,or any of the cane type grasses I sure aint seen it/quote]

You never seen a paint colt??? I can think of lots of stuff pretier than a fieldfull of rolled stalks....you never seen a naked girl????

Back to the question asked, if you search around in your area I would think you could find a conditioner for just a few hundred bucks. Not much need for them since the haybine came around. If there are any big consignment auctions of farm machinery in your area like they have around here a couple of times a year it would probably be a good place to look.
