A couple of years ago, I was looking at a cart that had a chute on it that would slide the bales up from a square baler and dump it in the basket behind. For the life of me I can't find it now. I think this year is the last year of the boys being around, so I was looking at another way of getting the bales to the barn. Anyone remember what it was? It was red I think....

I don't know who made it but I used to have one. It would stack six bales on their corners into a pyramid and when it was full you pulled a cord and it dumped them on the ground, still in the pyramid shape.

I don't know about new stackers but the one I had was always needing some sort of adjustment to get it to stack right. I finally gave up on it and just let the bales drop out the back of the baler. It was a great idea - very little contact with the ground and because the bales were at an angle they turned the rain pretty good.

I went to round bales shortly after that and parked my square baler.
