Hatchery

I am looking a certain chicken and I found it at a different hatchery then I normally use. Has anybody ever bought from Welp Hatchery? Did you have good luck with them?
I was looking for California White also known as Austa White. Its a cross between a white leg horn and a black australorp. I had some before and they laid a large cream colored egg. Survived longer then any other chicken I have had.

Never heard of them, but I am fortunate to live a couple hours away from Ideal Poultry and I order from them. I have some black austolorps and they are fine egg layers. Never had any white leghorns. Never had white chickens, except for my silkies, and they are just kinda for show. I only have 3 left.

Nothing's laying right now anyway at my place. Short days and cloudy skies. Thinking about culling them all and starting over.

Upped the light hours in the hen house and increased the production by 2 dz a day. Will probably cut the light off completely next month and let them molt before spring and the start of market season.

I have used Welp for the past 4 yrs, in my opinion better than McMurry, Shipping is free and prices basically the same. I reccommend them!!
