Has anyone tried yeast supplements for the last few months of finishing?

My steers and heifers for that matter, seem to always bloat a bit more than normal. Not bad but not 100% normal either. I was wondering if any one used ADM's Moorfat supplement for the purpose of yield and marbling? what was the outcome?

Currently I am giving them a 50/50 blend 1/2 20%-protien small pellet creep and 1/2 chopped/cracked corn. They lick the trough with 30 pounds a day. well adjusted to the hi-pro eating good. And they have green oats growing all over, bermuda, bahaia, and one fresh roll of hay

Even when I had lowered protien mix with just oats and corn, I still got bloated bellies

as luck would have it, she decided to take a swim. the 3 other head, seemed to get over thier bloat. But would the yeast in that Moorfat further marble up my steers? has any one tried supplements like that when trying to get them ready to make steaks?

Probably depend on who you are asking. My alfalfa grazing friend mixed about 10 pounds of baking soda with 50 pounds of minerals. You can but Bicarbonate of soda in 50 pound bags.
