[QUOTE="Brandonm2, post: 252584, member: 2095"] We have mini-Herefords, mini-Zebus, mini-Jerseys, Lowline Angus, why not miniature Murray Greys??? My only problem with the minis is that for some of them getting them smaller is the primary goal of the breeding process. Twenty ++years ago we still had some aged frame score 1 and 2 cows in the herd. IF grass fed beef ever takes off (and it is getting a lot of press on cooking shows and women's magazines), we are going to want to have some of those 1960s era bloodlines back. If the minis were preserving those old bloodlines for when (and if) that day comes that would be great,.....however when I see frame 000 and 0000 cattle being bred too me they are catering towards petting zoos and have no real commercial applications.
