Without Earl Scruggs Lester Flatt would have been just another good guitar player.
I've never heard of any type of guitar playing that is called "Flatt Style" but every banjer picker aspires to play "Scruggs Style"

I raised a pair of beagles once, and they sounded so good together, I named them Lester and Earl.
I got both of their autographs (Lester Flatt's and Earl Scruggs', not the dogs) once when I was about 9 or 10. I haven't seen the autograph's in a while though, my mom says she has them put up. :roll:
