Here's to the founding fathers, and all those that came after with a true belief in the Constitutional Republic that is our country.

We have faults, we have had some real rough spots. We have had war and inner strife. But we have believed in the true mission of a country that people are free to make responsible decisions and to govern our own selves.

I pray that there are enough of those true patriots to get through the times we are facing....

Those men who signed the Declaration of Independence knew that they very well might be signing their own death warrant. How many have that kind of bravery and conviction in their beliefs today?

I am afraid that very few of us would have the internal fortitude to do what these brave men did.
It was a very small percentage of the colonials that actually stood up and fought for our freedoms.
I am thankful every day for them.
