Today my sweetie and I have been married 30 years. And it just so happened a guy I buy corn from called me this morning. He wanted to know if I could come and get my wagon load of corn today. I said sure and when I got back home this tractor was sitting at my house still on the trailer. I've been tractor shopping for 6 months and couldn't make myself spend the money. But I told the guy to unload it and it's mine now. Needless to say the corn guy and the wife had it all figured out.
Hopefully next year I'll remember that 3/22 is my anniversary. What a day.

This is the biggest mistake that I've ever made farming. The only reason to by a Kubota tractor is the price, everything else a John Deere does better and it's way more user friendly. The second biggest mistake I made is not selling it when I had the chance. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $12k and buy a John Deere. Kubota's are nice tractors but their nowhere near in the same class as a John Deere tractor. IMO, and you can take it for what it's worth.

I hear both sides. The contract fencer in this area says his Kubota is better than his JD. I will take your word. I like my JD 5083E.

I love Deere but I've got a Kubota bank account.

Well doing any kind of loader work with this tractor is a joke. You can't see the tips of the forks or hay spear. And back blading or filling the bucket with dirt smoothly is almost impossible. But I only have 570 hours on the tractor now. But I'm going to have M5 give it a work out and see what he thinks about it. It's got a better AC, stereo and air ride seat than a John Deere tractor has, but that's about it.
