Hanover trailers

Yep. IF your buying it.. what condition is the floor, wheel bearings, and price.Tell em to knock off about $350 because it does not have a cover on it.. and that its a left handed trailer... :lol2:

Floor is good
Hubs and bearings seem tight
No wear on springs, shackles and etc
No welds or rust
Good trailer best as I could tell
But no deal I offered within 500 of his asking price and would have given another 250
But he said he wouldn't come down a penny so he still has it

Its interchangeable so I figure he has a good wife/gateopener

Weren't you looking at new gooseneck brand trailers?

Yep still looking for a bargain
Gooseneck and Neckover are with in a few dollars of one another new
I just happened by this one. It had buttefly gates on the back and leafspring axles and was only 6' wide
So it really wasn't what I wanted but if I could have got it for the right price I'd of bought it
New ones are high and used ones are worn out and abused
Surely I can find one worth the money
I hoping to come across someone that will sell me one at cost in return for a similar favor, but no takers yet.

Replaced the floor eons ago and never done anything else cept change the rubber on it.
Back in the day Hanover was the Cadillac of trailers.

Dang maybe I should have bought it
I couldn't find anything wrong with it, but he said I'm 70 yrs old and I don't want to get off somewhere and have trouble so I bought a new one.
It's a 91 model but it has been kept under a shed. It has the original floor and is in good shape and one set of new tires.
I looked it over good and didn't anything wrong with it
I want torsion axles so flats are easier to change and I want a swing gate instead of butterfly, but for the right price I could live with it

I know it's hard to tell from a picture but what do you think it's worth ?

5 years from now that Hanover will still be worth what you give for it. I also like butterfly gates. Open them in, on a wild cow catch, and they'll never get sprung. Just a guess 50-60% of whatever a new one of similar size and quality is worth.

I was just talking to a guy and he said on those older trailers the leaf spring get bent and they won't track straight
He said you better figure the cost of new springs or have them changed over to torsion

I been looking around some myself for a good gooseneck stock or cattle trailer. I found a nice one for 3k, and once I made my mind up that I wanted it, it was sold. I hope I find one before next winter, if not I am going to build a aluminum one. I figure I can build a 20' x 8'4" outside for 5k out of aluminum with 7k torsion axles.

I would say it's worth about 2000$, a tarp is about 400$ if you want a good one, 6ft wide is a strike against it and springs instead of torshion axles is a strike against it.

I have 1600$ for a 24ft WW 6.8 wide in excellent condition a few years ago. I've seen trailers just like mine and the same age priced at 3500$, I don't think there worth that much and I think I got a good deal, my pout is I don't think this one your looking at is a very dido table trailer so if it was me I would want a good deal on it. The other side is what Bigfoot said, these trailers bottom out and hold there value at a certain point.

Trailers are a little cheaper out yaws way. Me personally if I wanted it, and the tires and floor were good. I'd be a customer all the way to $4500. $1200 for new tires. I bought 4 today.

There is a 2010 Gooseneck 24' x 6'.8", wood floor and in real good shape for 6500.00 but I thought that was too high

Cattle are higher, and equipment a cheaper. No wonder you boys are doing so good.

New there 10650.00 and that should be anywhere in the US other than transportation cost and wouldn't figure that would be much different.
From Bryan Tx to Ky or Western Ok probably not a lot different in shipping, 600 miles difference from Altus Ok than to Louisville KY
