I am selling a steer by hanging weight to a guy. It's 1/2 angus and 1/2 just black cow. Have been on 100% feed for about four months or so, What would be a fair price to charge him? Southeastern Indiana. Thanks.

Depends on the grade. If he's paying killing, cutting and wrapping I'd guess 1.50 to 2.00 would be fair.

We charge $2.00/lb hanging and the customer pays slaughter and cut & wrap. What is the weight of the steer and how much do you need out of him...these factors can effect the price you charge. Could be easier to charge live weight.
