We had a heifer calve yesterday and she is trying to be a good mom just won't let all her milk down. We have tried milking her numerous times and her calf has tried to suck withut getting enough food. We gave her colostrum yesterday so we aren't worried about that. We can't get her to suck a bottle very good and I haven't tubbed before so I have someone on their way over to show me how. The vet is sending out a shot of oxytocin. Hopefully that works.
