Has anybody gotten their issue yet this month? I havent gotten mine yet and i dont recall one last month either. do you have to resubscribe every year? i wasnt very impressed with this month's progressive farmer either.

Got mine. I re-upped a few months ago and I think they said I was good for maybe three years. Don't know if I had to resubscribe or not, but some notice in magazine said do it.

Progressive Farmer has become a much watered down version of what it once was. It's more of a rural lifestyle magazine instead if a true farmer's publication. And it has gotten so thin!

It's funny you brought that up J.T. I was just asking someone yesterday if they remembered when PF was a larger sized paper and a lot thicker.I remember it was like that in the 70's.It's more about architecture and fancy new gadgets, and how to get birds to come to feeders.

Progressive Farmer used to be the main sponsor of the ag expo here each year and as of this year there will be a different sponsor.

I guess i'll give it a few more days before i freak out about my GCC.

I grew up with Progressive Farmer. In my rural North Ala home . there were two mag., the Progressive Farmer and The Saturday Evening Post. BUT, if the P. F. doesn't change, we will not renew. Did Ted Turner destroy a good Magazine :?:Oh yes that was 60+years and my parents had The P F long before I was Born

thanks all, for the concern. i am pleased to announce that the latest issue of GCC arrived in my mailbox today!!! It was all nice and shiney and unwrinkley and dry when i found it this morning, nestled in a warm stack of bills.

Love looking at them tigerstripes especially.

Cokeman, you need to get it. it has a lot of pictures/ads--youd like that.
