now thats a nice bunch of cute lil calves.bet theres gonna be a bunch of keeper heifers in those calves.

Bigbull, there would be, but out of 130 calves, we only have 50 heifers, and some of those are terminal calves, that we won't (shouldn't ;-) :D ) keep. All the orange tagged ones are steer calves...... Guess that is good for the pocket book, though.
 
Nice calf crop. I got mostly heifers, this year I would have taken all bull calves.
 
nice calves but i cannot take my eyes off all that flat land! :shock:

Thanks, actually, the calves seem to work at filling in the holes, which is great. Some of the badger holes are bloody well deadly....

Actually, the land isn't that terribly flat here. We are just in the bottom of a valley, or some such. Lots of pretty big hills close to us.
