Bigbull, there would be, but out of 130 calves, we only have 50 heifers, and some of those are terminal calves, that we won't (shouldn't ;-) ) keep. All the orange tagged ones are steer calves...... Guess that is good for the pocket book, though.

Lot of pretty calves. The white calves with the spots are really pretty. I have never seen a calf that digs for varmits. He may be a terrier mix.

Thanks, actually, the calves seem to work at filling in the holes, which is great. Some of the badger holes are bloody well deadly....

Actually, the land isn't that terribly flat here. We are just in the bottom of a valley, or some such. Lots of pretty big hills close to us.
