I've got a real problem with G/hawgs burrowing in my freestall barn. Do any of ya'll know a good way of geting rid of them short of sitting in the barn with a rifle and shooting them when they poke their heads out?

We came over a hump the other day to find a big fat groundhog huffing down the road in front of us. He didn't swerve one way or the other and when he finally decided he wasn't going to outrun us, he whirled around and put up his dukes. Pretty funny looking.

Try putting fox urine in or around all the holes, and use a poison.

OK, it's a slow Sunday...I can't help myself...so, apologizing before hand and realizing I'm gonna get a deserved cyberslap for this...I have to ask...

How do you get the fox to pee in the cup?

We put smoke bombs in all the dens. If someing comes out, shoot it. If nothing does, it will tommorrow, or it may have suffocated. Do this for a few days and i doubt they will come bother you again.

You can buy it at a hunting store like Bass Pro or Gander Mountain, it is a scent cover up used by hunters. I have no idea how the manufacturer gets the fox to pee in the jar though

Well, thank you for clearing that up...now I can on to bigger and better thoughts...like...

they probably just get the fox drug test samples..

Beefy, which drug test sample would be the best for a fox? Would I need to put the fox in a head chute to test it, or do you think I could get away with squeezing it behind a gate? :P

Note here! Hunters....don't put this on your clothes.. .and depending on the type game your hunting, this might run them all off? :D

It works for problems with small varmits like squirrls and the like that you have annoying you around the house.

ALice....taming the fox is the hard part! ;-)

Had a ghawg take up residence under a small building in a calf pasture. It apparantly got tired of the calves constantly messing with it cause it departed in about a week.

We have used human hair before to get rid of them. Just go to a barber shop or hair salon and most of the time sack it up for you and just put it in the hole. They don't like the human smell. It got rid of problem.

thanks to all of ya'll who responded to my ? I have some ideas to try now. Don't know where i will get a head catch small enough for a fox maybe TSC has them.

 Sis saw a ground hog in the yard-- she ran it up
next to a tree and called dad on her cell phone, who prompty
came and shot it. Hate them critters--- you should
see what they did to our loafing shed!
