Just wondering what others do before putting cows/calves into oat pasture?
In the past I just fed a high mag mineral a while before introducing them into oats, then let them graze an hour a day for a few days before putting them in to graze it down free will. I also have hay available to cut down on scours.
I recently read you should worm them and give them a 5 in 1 before putting them in oats.
This year is different because of the drought so I'm worried about things that I haven't had to deal with in the past.
