I have been trying a couple ways to establish new pasture seedings. One issue I have seen is that late fall grazing, especially during the establishment year, sets back the legume component a little and thins out the meadow fescue grass component. Other grasses don't grow as much in the fall and seem less palatable - - so I think the meadow fescue component is getting over grazed. Any fall management tips on improved grasses other than selecting varieties for consistent palatability?
