First off, this aint boogie. This is Driven. Boogie couldn't answer my question and suggested I ask the forum. CT won't let me log on from his computer for some reason.

My family leased some land long ago for gravel mining. The lease has lapsed and the company mining it wants to renew. I have no idea what a fair royalty is for the gravel they are taking. Anyone have any ideas?

This is a personal question I suppose and difficult to ask. We (my siblings and I) don't know if we should sign the lease agreement or not. Feel free to pm me if you have input. All insight is appreciated.

Does the company that had the lease sell the product by the ton or cu yd.?
Do they maintain roads fences cattle quards and ect?
Are they neat or dig and trash every where?
Has the pay been as agreed upon in the past?

good questions - in addition, how long is the lease? I would automatically at least do a 10% increase.

i have a couple of questions for you.do you sell them the gavel buy the ton yard or load.an if so are yall happy with the amount your being payed.an do you feel they are treating you right.by that i mean paying you for the correct amount of loads hauled out each day.
