Don't have a clue but supprises me anything is still green in west TX.

we haven't had but a little over 1" of rain since last oct. everything is dead or dormant but this grass is still hang on, so i'd like to know what it is.

Do the cattle eat it? I bet not or it would be gone.

Looks like it could windmill grass that hasn't opened up all the way.
