Anyone on here feed vacuum sealed grass silage. I have seen this written about quite a bit in the Stockman Grass Farmer and it seems quite attractive as an alternative to hay. I have a PM out to one man in KY who uses it but am looking for several opinions. If anyone has any experience with this or a similar system I would appreciate and information you can provide.

Good stuff, works exceptionally well on sudex. I don't know about the vacuum set up, ours is just a bale wrapper. We tried it on Teff this year, and the cows won't take their head out of the ring, they are hungry though. I would recommend using inoculant on it. Make sure you have a tractor big enough to handle the bales too. My favorite crop is peas and oats,151 RFV, 65 TDN, gonna tear into the first bale tomorrow.
